Day 112 "My greatest skill in life has been to want but little" -HT
May 28, 2015
Its the little things like finding
those spots only locals know about are seriously only ones I prefer to see.. not sure why but there is something genuine about these locations over tourist sites. "Be prepared for a hike in and bugs as you pass the swamps" said Mikey aka King Glass (who I met in #slabcity) as we (Iris, Jeffrey, Matt) take a break to this secret sesh spot. As we wandered down the tree lined trail encountering wildlife mix of frogs, snakes, and even insects I no clue the names. Being bit a million times it lived up to it's reputation although you appreciate the nuisances. Epitome of tranquility! I caught (it got away but have a vid for proof haha) my biggest trout in what I think it might be the cleanest water I've ever seen... contrast to horns blowing uselessly in NYC last week. Another reason I dig taking the #rvlife to get a feel of a location.. taking to time to "work" in it's environment not just visit. Thanks Mikey for the accommodations and for MA tour.
