a guy asks as I order The Mile Post travel maps of BC, AK. My reply "Word on the street there isn't a more wilder place then Alaska... aka The Last Frontier" I try to explain the challenge I want. Like trading truck stops that welcome a traveler with open arms every 50miles on I10, for an empty stretch of road with postcard worthy outlines of landscapes. Most of these ranges higher then anywhere in North America revolve around their own climate. Soooooo I'm seeking the "awe" factor regardless of how familiar the terrain becomes for well traveled observer. With only a handful of orders to complete I finally get to continue with the bare-bones replacement of equipment I lost in my last RV, to finish my #slabcity2alaska goal of digitally nomading working from the road. I suggest anybody doing the "Alcan" order #themilepost from @rein, seeing no GPS availability means good ole standard maps. Anyone in AK or enroute thru BC lets kick it. :)
